Pulitzer-prize winning analyst and best-selling author, Charles Krauthammer, has died. He was 68. His death comes just two weeks after he revealed he only had weeks left to live in his battle with cancer on June 8. 'I have been uncharacteristically silent these past ten months. I had thought that silence would soon be coming to an end, but I’m afraid I must tell you now that fate has decided on a different course for me,' he said in his open letter. 'My doctors tell me their best estimate is that I have only a few weeks left to live. This is the final verdict. My fight is over,' he added. The longtime Fox News contributor gave the harrowing announcement that his cancer had returned despite undergoing surgery last August.
