During the second week of August, it is hot and humid making it harder to do what I need to in the garden. But the plants and flowers are hanging in there and some are thriving more with the heat.
Come with me through the garden and see the critter that hop and crawl as we stroll.

Mine rose of Sharon just bloomed this week after blooming in July for 25 years ?? And my regular roses are blooming for the third time, they were a month early in blooming this year. Love those mahogany monsters colors Omgoodness I love everything

Good luck trapping your groundhog. We had a family living under our shed. They would trip the trap and eat the veggies but never get caught. They snapped off and ate all 22 sunflowers plus my broccoli. So frustrating!

Everything is filling in nicely. We just had a new metal roof put on over a single layer of shingles. Hope the construction crew go easy on your gardens with the removal of the shingles.

Love the garden as always, it is truly garden goals. I watch and rewatch videos to see what I can add in different spots of my young garden areas. I bought a smoke tree and noticed yours was on standard. Did you prune it that way?

Soleil I just LOVE walking with you! I love the way you talk to the bunny and are so caring of nature with all of its inhabitants. We are on tornado watch now but at least we finally got rain for 3 days!! Everything is flopping but that’s ok; it will bounce back. I cannot wait for your next tour.
