That book reads like a thirteen year old girl stumbled upon her parent's porn stash and decided to write about what was happening- without actually knowing what she was writing about. I wanted to take a switch to both of the main characters by chapter three.

When I was 14, I read Stephen Ambrose's D-Day. That's full of crazy stories! I think if it gets really graphic, then 15 to 17 would be a good cutoff for reading it. There are many far better written, more well conceived novels to read before you get to 50 Shades of Grey.
