Peru protests: Army deployed in southern region as tensions rise

Peru's president has blamed Congress for the ongoing civil unrest.
Nearly 60 people have been killed in the violence between the police and protesters.
Dina Boluarte says if Congress does not agree to bring forward elections to October this year, she will table a bill to call early polls.
Meanwhile, the army has been called in as tensions are increasing in southern Peru.
