Diffraction Lecture 7: Space Group Symmetry Part 1

Показать описание
In this lecture we see how translational symmetry and point group symmetry combine to create three-dimensional space group symmetry. The mix of these two symmetries is illustrated for the 13 monoclinic space groups. Next we learn how to read and interpret space group entries in the International Tables for Crystallography.
