Dollar General Employee Arrested for Stealing $8,000 in Snacks

A Dollar General employee was arrested after being caught in a scheme where she and her mother stole $8,000 worth of snacks and food items. The employee's mother would enter the store, fill up two shopping carts with goods, and proceed to the checkout. The employee would then only ring up a few items, allowing her mother to leave with the rest of the items unpaid. Upon investigation, officers discovered that this theft was part of a larger scheme, as similar suspicious activities were reported at the employee's previous workplace.
