Just watched the first season. This was a great show. Much wackier and lighthearted than Bojack Horseman, but very clearly made by the same people.
On a side note, I love the noise Bertie makes at 0:18

I guess this goes less on Bojack Horseman rules and more on Regular Show rules (there are anthro animals and normal animals with not much explanation)

If you're worried about Bojack, it is *nothing* like Bojack:
Lisa Hanawalt knows *exactly* the strength in style that she and her team should go for, and it's irreverent, and sweet, and so skillfully crafted

Trailers, I think by design, focus on the immediate appeal of a show, like laughs and energy,
but once this show draws you in, you get the feeling of caring for these characters and wanting them to be happy

I hope it can change your mind if you were on the fence

People saying this show has the "exact same" art style as Bojack need to open their eyes. Of course they both have humanoid animals, but almost everything else about this art style is subtly or vividly distinct from its cousin. Bojack feels like a much more grounded and toned-back version of Lisa Hanawalt's style, but Tuca feels like you directly brought her sketchbook to life on the screen. TnB colors are brighter, flatter, and more pop-art influenced while Bojack's tend to be more muted and incorporate photo textures. Shape language is also super different between the two shows. Tuca backgrounds have wonky warped perspectives while Bojack's tend to be on a solid grid. TnB's animation style is wacky, physics-breaking and fourth wall breaking, while Bojack's is a lot more realistic.

I've watched 7 episodes and I can't believe I only have 3 left 😭😭😭 I've been in love with the show since the first one! By now I feel like Tuca and Bertie are my best friends and I just wanna go on more and more adventure with them. I do hope there will be a second season 🙏🏻 Congrats to everyone who's been working on it btw, you guys have created something spectacular

The most comforting and hilarious cartoon series. Tuca and Bertie are the dream team. I have watched each episode of the first season several times. I like everything about it, the characters, the voices, the rythm, the music and the sex jokes, the feminism, the friendship, it is truly the cutest and the funiest cartoon ever but it is honest, never cynical and it tells you about our times. It is fun through understanding.

God, I love the artistic choices put into this show. The perspective used in the background and little animation and concept quirks are beautiful, unlike any show I've ever seen.
