I'm a Season Ticket Holder & here are
8 THINGS I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE SPURS REGULAR SEASON HOME SCHEDULE:

1. 3 Teams not coming to San Antonio
-Phoenix and Detroit only coming to Austin.
-Pacers game is in Paris (Pacers get screwed as well)
-Austin Games should only be teams that visit twice.
-Paris game should on be versus Western Opponents

2. Back to back games against same opponent.  I can understand this, but do not like it.
-Teams play differently during the Season, with different motivations, circumstances
and rosters.
-It gives the fans nothing to look forward to when you see the Lakers × 2 in two weeks in
November.
-It gives no chance for payback games down the road.
-An injured player is likely to miss both games as opposed to one. If a player is out for a week
at the wrong time, the chances of not seeing that player that season are nearly 100%.
-Also, No chance to learn from their mistakes and make any gameplan adjustments.
'-To have 3 of the 4 division opponents play here back to back is ridiculous and leaves
little to no chance at building proper rivalries.

3. Only 33% (4) out of the final 12 home games are against Western Opponents.
Worse, Only 22% (2) of the final 9 games are against Western Opponents.
During a potential playoff push?!?!
2 of the final 12 games are against Division Rival Dallas which could be interesting.

4. 8 of the 13 (62%) Eastern Conference Team games happen in the last 12 games
Of the season.

5. 4 of the 8* western Conference teams that play here twice do so within a month.
Utah (Nov 12, ), Lakers (Nov 15, 29), Kings (Nov 12, Dec 6) and Clippers (Dec 31, Jan 29)
(*The other 4 teams are Pelicans, Thunder, Trailblazers & Warriors.  Minnesota, Denver play here once)

6. No MLK Day game. This used to be a San Antonio tradition that few other-if any-teams had.

7. Last game of season is a home game. And that more than likely means no Starters will play
making this slightly worse than a PreSeason game. Will there be any compensation in terms of
Great concession prices or major Door Prize Giveaways? Of course not.

8. This release video was worse than bush league. Couldn't understand a word of it, no graphics, stereotypical, poor camera work and overall unwatchable. Is this really the best they could have done? Of course not. Look at some of the other schedule release videos and you'll be certain to agree.

Despite all of that I wont be canceling my tickets. Just laying out some facts and opinions. Go Spurs Go
