nowadays, in a certain industry i am in, phd get's fast tracked to become a manager even though the work doesn't need a PhD. If they are not well versed with the technicality, they get to learn on the job, but for those who's actually know everything about that work, they do not get the same opportunity to learn to be a manager.

The sad part is when one realises he is the only one of the handful doing his job out of 1.2 billion people as a employee, citizen and human. As mahatma gandhi said "if you want to see the change, be the change."

my grandfather came to the US from Trinidad. his family had gone there as indentured servants to escape the Indian caste system. today i have little connection to that side of my family history, but it makes me really happy to think that the horrible system my family was lucky enough to escape may one day truly die.

Most of online Indians will refuse to believe that Cast System still affects backward class in the year 2021in INDIA. It's a kind of marginalization which affects a person in unexplainable manner. We know how cast system came to existence.
