The Crypto Report: Bitcoin sets new yearly highs in the face of banking crisis

Bitcoin is riding new 2023 highs to open the trading week.

$BTC has brought its gains to well over $28,000 all despite poor trading sessions worldwide as well as the current banking crisis that forced Silvergate Bank, Signature Bank and Silicon Valley Bank into closing.

Ethereum is on the same path, although not at the same intensity with fresh gains at nearly $1,800. However, investors are keeping their eyes peeled for this weeks' interest rate meetings called for the U.S. Federal Reserve and across the pond with the Bank of England this Wednesday.
