Former premier Campbell Newman says the LNP’s election win is "so important” for the state of Queensland.

Sky News has projected the Liberal National Party to win the 2024 Queensland election.

“I am thrilled of the result, I really am,” Mr Newman said.

“It is a win that was just so important for the state of Queensland because there is a lot to be fixed.”
