THANK YOU BRO!!! For those who are not believing or understanding... If you do it "normally" and match all of the colors, then video won't even show when fully plugged in! and with all matched, if you pull the tv-side plug about halfway out, you can see video but it will be distorted.. But if you do red-to-yellow & yellow-to-red, it works perfect!

Oh and I found that a wii to hdmi converter also works if you guys don’t have the av cables the hdmi converter just plugs into the back of wii where the av cables went then just plug in your hdmi to your new tv but that’s if your missing your av cables and just got hdmi

First off, I did mix up the colors like you said, and I can hear the Wii but when it says nothing is plugged into it (even though it is) plus there’s a loud humming noise. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They should have came in the box when you bought the TV with the remote and the package! Lol at least mine came in there and had on the manual what you're supposed to use it for.

@Yink i just bought a converter and the picture quality was terrible. Do these wires from Amazon in the link have good picture quality

See I bought that same exact yellow cord on Amazon and I put it in my Roku TCL TV and it didn't work

So, I did everything as you said, all it's doing is buzzing and very little sound. No picture on the screen.

We bought an adapter and new cords with the R/Y/W prongs with a small usb cord that plugs into the t.v. and have no results. There's a hdmi output slot where another cord can plug but my sis says we should not need it

And all that's open on the tv itself is a av slot (our wii-u & ps4 are connected to this tv too) but only the Wii isn't connecting

I just hooked my Wii U to my Roku Hisense Tv just using HDMI cable. Did not use AV cables.

I bought the correct chord, did the regular and the random method and neither of those worked😭💔💔💔 I had my wii saved up to the side for a while, excited to play again. Just will have to buy a brand new wii console💯 as long as i still have all my wii games and their progress is saved and good

Reading the comments here, it seems like for some people it works, others it doesn’t. I can’t get any adapter to work on mine unfortunately.
