When it comes to the passenger vehicle sector, luxury cars are leading the electric vehicle adoption trend. 8% of luxury vehicle sales is contributed by electrics. Volvo Cars India, which gets over 25% of its sales from EVs, looks to leverage this trend better with the launch of the EX30 “very soon”. Volvo expects to create a new sub-segment with the new model.
