Do you know your "it's just a hole in the ground"s from your "large scale rubble left in a vague circle"s?

I like how he said “back in my days” implying that he is older than the Great Wall of China

The dude who went to the London Eye complained that it wasn't an actual eye. As if he would have been any happier to arrive to a 135 metre tall eye staring him down.

"I can't believe London's Eye isn't a literal eye"
"What do you mean Big Ben isn't a 50 meter tall guy named Ben?"

I love how that person at the Arc de Triomphe decided to cross the giant roundabout of death instead of going through the underpass. Genuinely impressed that a person this confused survived to tell the story.

Think about how much money San Francisco has to spend every time they shoot a film and destroy said item! Definitely not safe. 😂

Alright, I suppose the Anne Frank house is a little depressing for a visit, I can understand if it's not for everyo-
"So we went to an escape room instead"
Oh no.

Ironically, the Statue of Liberty wasn't originally green. She is made of copper, and originally was shiny and, well, copper-colored. But due to oxidization, her color eventually changed to the minty green it is today.

The review for the Great Wall of China said “back in my day walls were more beautiful” turns out tripadvisor has some immortals among us

a pink statue of liberty sounds like something out of a cyberpunk dystopia

The Great Wall of China guy is obviously immortal. Back in his days in the Indus River Valley walls didn't have to be so tall.

The Statue of Liberty is made of copper, which is reddish. She would’ve appeared pink immediately after construction. However, copper oxidizes into verdigris, which is green. I actually think that verdigris is a rather nice color. It’s also evenly matte and even protects the metal from further oxidization.

This is fab - I've just turned it into a quiz for my class this morning. Thank you!

I love how in the one for the Golden Gate Bridge, they use Monsters Vs. Aliens, an animated movie, as a reference not only once, but TWICE. At least the others were live action

This made me a little more confident in my knowledge of landmarks. Granted I didn’t know the names but I’m still proud of myself for getting the terracotta soldiers, even if my answer was ‘those thousands of warrior statues in Asia’.

The 15 dollar parking at Mt Rushmore actually seems like a valid reason for a 1 star review

I hate when they make me climb the stairs despite the fact that I am overweight.

2:03 Just made me realize that the Golden Gate Bridge is always used just to show how much damage the big evil guy can do

Whoever said the Crand Canyon is just a hole... I've taken that one very personally
And the irony of going to an ~escape~ room after visiting Anne Frank's house
(Also to be fair the London Eye is just a tourist trap. If you want to see London from above you can go to the dome in St Paul's Cathedral, it's cheaper. And there's an elevator)
