‘DISTURBING!’ Why ‘isolated’ Prince Harry missed best friend’s wedding | Palace Confidential

Prince Harry’s absence from the wedding of his close friend the Duke of Westminster is ‘very significant’. That’s the view of the Daily Mail Diary Editor Richard Eden who says that Harry’s decision not to attend is ‘disturbing’ and that it shows ‘worrying echoes of the way that Meghan Markle has become estranged from her own family’.

Prince William was invited to be an usher at the event, to which several royals and old friends of Harry were invited. The Mail on Sunday’s Editor at Large Charlotte Griffiths believes that Harry should reflect on the fact that he is growing ever more distant from family and friends.

‘There’s got to be a wake-up call moment for Harry at some point,’ she says. ‘I hope there is because it’s very isolating’.

Charlotte, why do you have to be so snobbish? David Beckham is an All-round good guy. He may be famous for his footballing prowess, and he maybe fabulously wealthy, but there’s still boyish enthusiasm and general decency about the man. He and his wife have been married for years and seem genuinely happy. He’s an asset, and KCIII is wise enough to recognise his value.

Thanks for covering the D Day Ceremonies. Watching the ceremony at Juno Beach I was truly moved by Prince William's speech and honouring of the Canadian veterans. William thanked the veterans and took the time to speak to each one with sincerity and warmth. He really has stepped into this role and as a Canadian I was so proud he was there with our Prime Minister and President Macron.
