MAXINE NIGHTINGALE If I Ever Lose This Heaven TV CLIP

Penned by the late great Leon Ware as well as Pam Sawyer and recorded by the likes of The Average White Band and Quincy Jones. 'If I ever lose this heaven' in the hands of the wonderful Maxine Nightingale is a thing of joy - her vocals just soaring especially on the line 'Way Up There' - WOW! If anybody knows where this vision comes from, please comment. Maxine included it on her debut LP 'Right Back Where We Started From' which generated her first 2 major hits: the title track and 'Gotta Be The One'. Maxine is one beautiful and talented vocalist.

I like or love everything Maxine Nightingale did! I have 3 albums of her. I did a rewrite / photo tribute to "Right Back Where We Started From" but I'd only include the link here with your permission. I like her version and Average White Band's version of "If I Ever Lose This Heaven" about equally. Great work, thanks for posting this, Dave! :-)
