I just built a Ryzen 5 5500 system with an RTX 3060ti. Maybe not the best combo, but I'm so happy with it. For us low budget buyers, new generation parts are only beneficial to us when they drop prices of the previous gens. 😊

I just ordered a new PC today... 😂
7800X3D and RTX 4070 Super.
Sure I could most likely get a better system if I waited a bit longer, but as the chinese proverb goes "He who waits too long before talking the next step will spend the rest of his life standing on one leg"...
It will be interesting to see what the difference will be compared to my i7-6700k and GTX 1070... 🙃

Building a rig now, just ordered a RTX 4070 Super and I'm super happy to hear that waiting on a GPU wasn't advised 😅 CPU will be the dead last thing I buy, hoping either the new 9000 series has a few mid tier bangers in it or it brings down the price of the 7000 series as there are already a few great choices there.

0:00 I'm about to build a PC, only things left to purchase which will be next month is the GPU & PSU. I am doing 2 GPUs so the PSU will be able to. First GPU is 4070 FE Super, the 2nd will be a 50 series, so I will wait on that to add it to the build. SIMPLE. a B760 board with 12700 CPU. If I feel/need to upgrade I can up to 14900. People need to learn to START and stop delaying. Technology will ALWAYS be improving. Another 5 years minimum before I look to change Mobo depending on what tech is out.

I wouldn’t wait like 2-3 month for a brand new gpu/cpu to better for what i’ll buy cuz even if its better it’ll be more expensive.

I am currently building my first PC and I already have a CPU (ryzen 9 5950x on prime day deals) and was interested in a rtx 4070 ti super but I'm not expecting to have the pc until next year anyway so im hoping to grab a sale or maybe itll go down in price when the 50series comes out next year.

I agree with what you say. I started buying parts about a month ago. I got really good buys, like 50% off or better on an AIO Kraken elite, Case NZXT H6, SSD WD SN850x, Ram DDR5 6000 CL30 and be quite M12850w psu, But I figure it will be black Friday or xmas sales until I get a Cpu, Motherboard and Gpu. but I do also want to see what the new Ryzen 9 chips have to offer along with the new x870 motherboards.
