Can you do an update now with the slice machine?

I like to save drum kits to a template project which uses quite a lot of my slots up. This could save heaps of space, thanks!

Your tutorials are always useful and well explained.
This samplechain method, while being resource-saving I believe it has various downsides:
- the samples are choking, no overlap possible on same track
- impossible to control volume, eq, reverb etc in the classic way (this could be frustrating)
- On a complex project, mixing can be a nightmare (imagine to adjust eq of just one sigle bassdrum…)

In any case an original workflow: thanks for sharing

Note: I guess the chain events could be randomized by using LFO on the sample start, I have to try that

One question: Why equal-lenghth the samples if you can parameter-lock the length of the slices? I understand this in the context of randomly triger sample slices with lfo…Thanks for your videos.

you were talking about limited eq options on digitakt but isn't there parametric EQ on digitakt now with new update? I mean not the latest one, previous one. I'm getting mine on wednesday so I don't know :P

Hi, I'm following your guide but something that I must have missed, how many bars are you using for the 12x chain? I think I'm on the right path, I have equal diatances between my samples which gives me three bars when using 12 samples. Is that correct? Btw, thank you for this great tutorial, love your channel mate! 🥳

Edit: I was doing it right, it works, great stuff! 🔥
