Joan was a legend. She was one of the funniest person in the world. She crossed boundaries, she was unapologetic. Not a lot of people could make me laugh, but she was definitely one of them. I miss her so much and I will continue to miss her and rewatch all her old interviews and tv shows. I still can't get over that she's gone. She's irreplaceable. Rip Joan :(

I loved Joan and she's exactly my type of comedian but I found this to be a little fake of Ellen. I understand her and Ellen had a cordial relationship but Ellen isnconstantly says she isn't a fan of comedy that hurts people's feelings and that's exactly what Joan's comedy was, whether you wanna admit it or not. Arguably, all comedy can offend somebody but nonetheless, Joan Rivera was notoriously unapologetic about her jokes, regardless of whose feelings they hurt.

My heart broke when Joan passed. The book Melissa wrote, "The Book of Joan" is really beautiful, funny and comforting. I actually got the Audio version because Melissa reading it aloud makes in more personable. 💜💜💜
