Never clicked on a video so fast, I am so glad to see you back Allie! I think it’s good that you took a break to focus on yourself, that takes a lot of self awareness to realize when you need to take a step back and reevaluate. 2020 has been one hell of a year and life has a way of throwing everything at us all at once and it can be extremely overwhelming. Remember that it’s ok to cry, be sad, to feel all the emotions. I think we need to give ourselves more credit for how resilient we are, we are stronger then we think. Also, I am sorry to hear about your Grandpa, it’s heartbreaking to lose someone so special. It sounds like he was a special man who left an impact on everyone he knew. His legacy will live on through you and all your family. Take care of yourself Allie, looking forward to seeing more content from you ♥️ you can film anything and I would still always watch it!

Hi Allie, I used to be a subscriber for a long time. I unsubscribed some time after last year (I unsubscribed from a lot of people - I was tired of the constant consumerism of youtube in general).
I stumbled upon one of Tonis videos and thought of you. I realized you had been gone for awhile. I appreciate you being so outspoken on Twitter. SO many influencers are scared to talk about 'controversial' things (eg: Black Lives Matter.. etc).

I had post partum depression with my first dog, a Shih Tzu (only little), who I wanted desperately. The weight of it all was overwhelming. Sounds stupid, but it happens. You are not alone with that. That was 18 years ago. We just got a new puppy last October (a Morkie), no post partum the 2nd time around. :-) It was a big year of change for you Allie. Lots of lessons, but lots of growth. Loss is not easy. I lost my brother who was 41, a few years ago. Ugh, it was crushing. I needed time off, my insurance company said "Death is a part of life, just like living is." WOW, that was COLD! I went under a rock for awhile. Every day still is a struggle, but moving forward ....baby steps. So sorry for your loss, Allie. You mentioned your fave quote. My fave quote sees best in the dark." So much hope in that quote.

My grandmothers passing changed my life. It’s been 9 years since I last heard her voice. It too was sudden and out of absolutely nowhere. Allie, the pain heals but never fully. Continue to talk to him and live like he’s next to you. Sometimes when I’m driving or praying I just start talking to her. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I GET it Allie. It took a full year for me to bond with my dog. I would always describe it as post partum depression. I'd never heard anyone else describe it that way until you.
