I've been doing number 8 type questions in the weirdest way I guess. I always just... said that 9^n=3^(2n) which is the same power as the (x-4)^(2n) and I called 2n=k and then I dealt with the other term and said that because of geometric series only converging when |r|<1 that the interval of of convergence was 1<x<7 and the radius of convergence would be 3. Luckily I do this online and it would be kinda weird showing work.
