It is not benign when the government requests that there shouldn't be mention of the real world stats, such as suicide rates of soldiers in T.V. or film. At best it's a lie of omission; and at worst it's a blatant lie to get more people to join a war they may come back from, but have a high probability of suicide once home. Also! Why do film makers need/want support of the pentagon so badly that they'll change such big ideas?
