Badger has a congenital defect called megaesophagus, so he has to be fed in an upright position. Thanks to the powers of 3D printing, he now has a special feeding station that helps him eat like a champ!

Yes. YES!!! I'm so happy to see 3D printing technologies being put to good use for animals, as well as people, with disabilities! Sweet baby Badger, grow up big and strong!

There is a lab around here that makes prosthetic arms for kids using 3-D printing because it's so much cheaper to use something like this while the child is growing and the kids have a lot of fun doing their own designs and decorating. Then once they are done growing, the get fitted with the "traditional prosthetic" but since they got to play around so much with different designs and features with the 3D printed ones, they have a better/easier time determining features in their adult prosthesis.

I have a picture of him with his big belly as my boyfriend's contact photo. Badger is definitely tiny but mighty! Especially with that tummy!!!

For Badger and the Meatballs, you're the best of caretakers, but for us you're the best of teachers. Thanks for the great videos -- and keep them coming!

For those without access to a Preston of their own: A lot of public libraries have 3-D printers that can be used by the public. All they need is an .stl file. You can pretty much use almost any computer assisted design software. Autodesk has a free version called “TinkerCAD” that has the ability to make basic shapes etc. if you can’t find what you’re looking for on Thingiverse. ☺️

This is so exciting! They’re such tiny animals, if tech is getting to the point where we can be that precise, it’s amazing! What a wild time to be alive!!!!

I've been watching you for awhile but after I saw the first video Badger was in, then this! I really started to understand why we need to spay and neuter cats and dogs. It got me thinking, I told my dad how we should try to get the cats around are woods and house spayed/neutered, he told me that if I start doing simple jobs for people he would try to get them spayed/neutered. What i'm trying to say is that I greatly appreciate you coming out and teaching people, telling people, what they should try to do. You have greatly inspired me to help the animals around us and taught me how to care for kittens which helped me when we found are new member of the family, Mittens!

So glad badger is doing well and becoming an independent young man despite his disabilities. Lots of love from Ireland.

The lengths you go for these babies is inspiring. People often do give up on kittens that aren't born strong. There are always things for dogs with problems and nothing for cats. It's a shame these little guys aren't appreciated the same way dogs are. Don't get me wrong, I adore dogs but cats and kittens are truly something special.

I'm starting to wonder if people just go around disliking videos for no reason...

I wish I had this for a foster kitten I had a few months ago with the same condition. Instead I made one using a wooden palate a basket ball net and a draw.
Luckily he made it and his family were looking into alternatives.
I will share this vid with them.
Keep up the hard work! From one Neonatal fosterer to another we need more people in the world like you and andrew!
