It’s never correct to tell anyone to leave or resign. Unfortunately, that’s not how the world lives and works.

retirement age is kept, keeping in mind that as the person gets older, the mental and physical health of the person and work efficiency of every human starts diminishing. Also gives opportunity for newer generation to come and take the place. Also retirement brings new ideas and thought process which brings efficiency and better work ( Nature too has retirement process as older things start decaying and charters a path for newer things to replace )

One should retire in politics at the age of 75-78 maximum. But Politician don't want to give up power. They want to continue till death.

In Sharad Power case he is not only aged but power and money hungry, he will not expand the party in the entire state and always want to stay in power to get financial benefits to his family. One more thing is even NCP get more seats than CONGRESS he don't want allow others to CM position from NCP because he has fear the person will be more popular than him.
