Manchester United came out on the wrong side of chaos 4-3 away at Spurs but Ruben Amorim focused on something very positive in his reaction.

This from Amad epitomises something that is changing in this team and there are some other important things we need to talk about.

United may have lost, there were some big individual errors but the team is still 100% making progress. Let me explain why.

Amad is the shining example both in and out of possession right now. There were some positives to take from that defeat I think, let me discuss them here.

The fact that we've lost to individual errors and not tactically beaten is a positive I can take

The difference now is after bring 3-0 down, they believed and fought on. That is precisely what we've been missing.

We saw identifiable patterns of play upfront with cutbacks and midfielders late run into the box...

We are getting better and sharper ath the front of goal.

I'm so happy!!

Amad's pressing is relentless. No matter where he plays he's thriving & his a prime example of killing down working hard & doing what his coach asks of him. We may of lost due to individual errors last night but in every game u can see vast improvements. We dominating possession more while also when we have any set backs we aren't throwing in the towel like we've seen in the past instead we keep playing our football we carry on fighting till the end. Fact this team shows far more fight is a positive sign. Losses happen but we're no longer getting thrashed in games we're going for to toe with them. Still plenty of work to be done especially attacking wise & if we cut out these silly individual mistakes we'll get even better

We need to understand that Amorim has taken the charge only in mid season and more so when the team was doing pathetically...also Dec run of games is so thick and fast that he needs Rotation..i think he is doing absolutely brilliant..😊

I totally agree . Brilliant work rate from the boys, shocking goals to concede but the boys didn’t stop running right until the end . It’s good to see going forward

I could see Amad becoming a ManU legend. It will take a while yet, but they kid has a wonderful personality too.

Everyone seem to forget that Amad did his time in leagues which are physically brutal, where caveman tackles are completely acceptable. And he survived! And he learnt how to adapt. You cannot help but build mental resilience under such unforgiving circumstances.

I've said since Amorim came in all i care about is progress. His first interview he said 'we will see an idea' . I see it and i'm here for it.

The belief is back, something we have been missing for so long, and lucky enough we have a coach we read and understand games.
Amorim is yet to sign a single player for United, he brings the pattern of play with what he inherited, imagine where we would be when this man is backed properly and got the players he want.

I'm looking at the progress we are making as well, and there is a much better shape and willingness from the players 🔴⚪⚫

I liked Antony in previous games, it felt like he was trying hard.
But in this match, he simply did not run, he did not pressure the Spurs' defenders while our midfielders pushed forward ahead of him.

Very disappointing.

It's annoying how quickly channels like this flip flop on players. Player of the season last season Dalot. He's been overplayed, looks like he's making tired decisions. He's played pretty much every game under Amorim too. He needs a break, he's a good footballer and will come good in this system

I think for the first time in a long while, I actually saw an identity in and out of possession and style , what let us down like with the forrest game was the I individual mistakes from the keeper and martinez, do we need to talk about Martinez...?

I think that's the first time I've ever heard you drop the f-bomb since watching you! I'm not mad at it, I totally agree! This club in the last few days have shown more grit than I've seen in 5 years!

All our best ever players worked thier asses off for the team, so even when not playing well, that have work rate to fall back on at a bare minimum, giggs, beckham, scholes, butt, keane, all worked like dogs and got the rewards for that, even when not playing well, u will get cheered for the work rate at old trafford

we need a lwb, left 10, striker and cm seriously

We’d have won this game if Mazaoui had finished that chance. We’re not there yet but a lot of improvement
