The Volvo S60 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid version of the luxury brand's smallest and most affordable sedan. Starting this year, every Volvo model is available with an electrified powertrain, and the S60 Recharge is now one of several featuring the brand's impressive plug-in hybrid system. The S60 Recharge can be driven up to 41 miles on electricity alone and packs a combined horsepower rating of 400, so it's also plenty quick. In fact, the S60 Recharge easily out-accelerates its main rival, the BMW 330e. The 455-hp S60 Recharge Polestar model is even quicker, hitting 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. With standard all-wheel drive and a well-tuned suspension, the S60 Recharge also handles well and has a comfortable ride. Volvo's current designs are understated, but modern and appealing. Interior refinement is top-notch, with high-quality materials and simple design. The S60 Recharge is short on trunk space for a sedan of this size, but its cabin is spacious, and its front seats are exceedingly comfortable, even on long drives. Overall, the S60 Recharge delivers an impressive combination of performance, luxury, and efficiency.

This year the Volvo S60 Recharge gets a refreshed look with new but subtle design changes in the front and rear. There are also new wheel designs. Google built-in capability is now standard on all models, and Volvo has renamed the sedan's four trim levels, replacing the Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription names with Core, Plus, and Ultimate.
