Recording bass with little to no instruction makes recording music really hard. So today I am challenging 3 bass players on Fiverr to create their grooviest bass lines with no instruction.

Check out all these Bass Players on Fiverr.

You need to get Eugene to do another vid about his setup because I agree, his tone was killer. Would love to know!

The 3rd one tone was so great! It reminded me of that song Thundercat played because of the groove

All three were good, and you can hear the levels of creativity between them. Eugene’s tone stood out above the crowd. Right bass for the job imo.

Loved what Dan put down in the second sample. The double-stops were fresh.

The third one has a bit more feeling in my opinion.

Solid video, appreciate your insight man. I’m a relatively new bass player, so hearing you interpret their playing & casually throw in jargon helps a lot. Also explaining that having more space makes a bassline groovier is good to know. I’ll definitely put that into practice. Think my favorite was the second one. I love the overall tone he gave the track, so smooth.

2nd guy 2nd take was real Good.. 3rd guy was more my take. I personally prefer a heavier bass line. Leading off a heavy bass line is like the bread and butter note allowing those spicy notes to play also. They all did well 🎉 great video

In this kind of videos it would be cool to see also your version of "groovy bassline" or whatever
