Fumarola INVOLCAN 11-10-2022

Incansable el trabajo que realiza INVOLCAN en el estudio del fenómeno volcánico, de su naturaleza, comportamiento y en mayor medida de la prevención del riesgo que dicho fenómeno representa para la sociedad canaria. Su trabajo se centra fundamentalmente en el estudio de la geoquímica de los gases volcánicos y la deformación del terreno.

INVOLCAN trabaja para la sociedad palmera y para el resto del archipiélago desde el año 2010, y además de su actuación en Canarias, la entidad cuenta con un equipo de profesionales con experiencia en proyectos de colaboración científica desarrollados en más de 20 países y regiones volcánicamente activas.

Hoy, miembros de INVOLCAN toman muestras de gases en una fumarola existente en el extrarradio del cono volcánico. Como puede apreciarse, se encuentra entre los pinos, en un punto donde ninguno habría imaginado ver algo así.
