If you want the @ symbol the simplest way is to just press and hold the shift key and press the number 2. This will automatically insert the @ symbol into your document.

If you want something fancier, you can go to the "Insert" tab in the MS Word toolbar, and select "Icons". In the search bar, type "email" and select one of the resulting images. Simply click on "Insert" and you are done.

The final way to insert the email symbol into Word is to press and hold the Alt key and type 9993 (sometimes you have to do this on your numerical keypad). This will give you the generic email symbol.

Both the first and third methods are best if you expect the text to be moved between applications, such as pasting into an email.
