CANNES 2023 | Film Festival WINNERS

These are all the 76th Cannes Film Festival winners, including the Palme d'Or. Founded in 1946, the festival is usually held in May and is one of the "Big Three" alongside the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the Berlin Film Festival in Germany.

Ce festival est mort. La presse ne parle plus que des scandales de cul, et les seuls acteurs qu'on nous met en avant c'est des vieux amerloques qui ont passé les 80 piges ...incroyable, douglas, ford, fonda, MISERE. LE NéANT NOUS GUETTE.

The Big three: Cannes, Venice and Berlin are important but TIFF (The Toronto International Film Festival) is the Biggest and now after Venice probably the most important Festival in the World; The 76th Cannes Prize Winners seems to indicate that it is hardly of the International Importance it once held; it seems to concerned with only big names at the Festival; the ultimate big winners came as a HUGE SHOCK to I hate the way Cannes has these JURY Committees, a very select few who make the decisions about all the ultimate Winners. In Toronto, any prizes are awarded by the overall Festival itself and the Grand Prize Winner for BEST FILM is selectecd by AUDIENCE VOTE, Not by a small committee of a few. CANNES, to my mind, is now worthless as a International Film Festival. It's not representative or inclusive enough to be called an International Film festival. At TIFF, not only do we get all the new rleases for the film season, but an enormous retrospevtive of hundreds upon hundreds of films playing at the festival highlighting countries from all around the world. That's the meaning of INTERNATIONAL.
