The dart holes being inconsistent is "meh", since theyre not relying on internal pressure glto propell them like conventional darts. The internal space is just weight-saving, and the hole is a pressure release so the darts dont pop if stepped on.

Remove the restrictor and add a brass barrel and it’d probably be good, assuming you can even take it apart without breaking everything.

They should mention that the new darts are not compatible with other nerf blasters somewhere on the packaging. I bought a pack of darts and they are just enough thicker to not fit on others.

it would be good, but the fact you have to buy the new darts makes it horrible. not only that, but it’s not gonna sell well, parents want to buy blasters that already work with the darts they have.
