My trainer has a friend who bought a horse and I was completely green. It also had multiple health conditions [I can’t remember what they where] and it was to expensive to keep the horse unfortunately many people will try and scam people. In the end the horse went to a good home but it’s a good idea to see the horse and not buy sight unseen.

Also see if they slam a bucket of water. Some horse sellers will restrict water from a horse to make it docile once you get it home it will drink water and become the jumpy scared horse it was from the last owner being dumb.

Ngl when I first tried my horse I thought he was drugged because he was super chill and would sleep while I was on him but I started him on the pattern and he was perfect and super perky so we had a ver check and ended up buying him and I brought him home and months later this boy still will sleep in your arms and then the moment you take him to work he’s perky and energetic

Id strongly advise dropping by a day earlier than you said. Ive seen horses that were in such awful condition on the day prior.

My horses head is always low with his lip hanging out, so I don't think people would want to buy my horse because of that. Lol😂

I got my horse 2 years ago and he looked so tired. Granted all of them did because they came form a 9 hour car ride and then a barrel race that they stood at before the lady brought them over (she offered we didn’t ask)

I always ask to get the horse myself just in case they have issues getting them in from the field or out of their stall
