i heard about buying at a boat show at the end of the year. is it true they have some good deals? i'm looking for a 19' foot yamaha jet boat.

Thank you for sharing. I noticed boat is reg in NJ. I'm from NJ too (Lawrenceville) where did you buy this boat. When I go and do search for dealers that have this boat, the closest once is 160 miles away. Kinda far :)

thumbs up, my friend can you share your experience with this boat. I'm thinking of getting it as this is the only yamaha boat I can affort new. They look amazing for their size, do they have enough power when at full capacity (8 people) Thank you for any info.

I bought this boat at the NY boat show in JAN since they had deals and i took advantage of the free 5 year warrenty (unlimited hours) that they offer....the dealer was bay harbor motors in staten island NY but I know of a place called stumpys yamaha in Neptune NJ I believe that also sells yamaha jet boats

Nice boat. I'll be in the market next year and just now started to look into jet boats. I live in Md. and boat on the Chesapeake. How does your SX 190 handle in rough chop?

Very sweet boat! I am planning on buying same exact model! I love all that room in the rear platform. Does this single engine have alot power? I appreciate the info.

I normally launch around the Sandy Hook, NJ area and I make the trip across the bay into NYC. The boat takes quite a beating. I've already broken my passenger captain's chair(warranty item), my windshield support bar came loose, my bow handle bars are also now loose and I almost lost my Bimini top while it was folded down. I also put 70+ hrs on it my first year so it def. took a beating this summer. Its not that bad though, just take it slow until you reach calmer waters.

So far the most load I put on this boat was 4 people and a full icebox and I still hit a top speed of 48 MPH...I don't plan on putting more then 8 people on this boat since it would be really uncomfortable unless we plan on going to a beach or island party but I'll be sure to post more videos and my experiences....Thanks!

Has your boat giving you any problems?

I put 71hrs on the first year....the only problems I had was a broken passenger chair, speakers in the rear were at only like 50% power, a loose handle bar, horn stopped working, and loose windshield support bar...these are all warrenty items and nothing major....mechanically I was just fine.
