Fun & Easy Dinosaur Cake

Hi Guys! I have been making this cake for YEARS and it's one of the simplest kids cakes to make. You can be as creative as you'd like with the colors and face of your dinosaur cake. And you could even use different tips like the Ateco 352 or 263 to make cool spikey pieces down its tail. Skys the limit with the creativity on this but I kepy mine simple for all the begginers out there. Below is the list of everything I used to create my dinosaur cake. Enjoy!! Homemade buttercream frosting
Food coloring of your choice (I used green, purple, blue, and Hershey's chocolate powder for my chocolate/brown)
Decorator bags
Ateco Tips: 806, 802, 2, 133 (grass tip) and also Wilton 233 (grass tip)
Cake board or serving plate
One 8 inch round cake (any flavor)
Knife or cake leveler
Angled spatula
Scissors (to snip your bags)

Awesome my son came to me a week before his birthday and said he wanted a diniosaur cake and i did exactly the same as yours but with stiffend chocolate butter cream and with the other half of the cake i cut out some legs and made them as so the dinisaur had just eaten somebody with just the legs sticking out of its mouth i made the teeth out of white chocolate buttons and the eyes were made of skittles and on his birthday ge said "dad thats the best cake youve ever made which brought a tear to my eye and made all the hard work worth it so thank you for youre video keep up the good work best wishes from a single dad of four children big shout out to all single parent fathers like myself
