I'm taking it back to basics with this furniture makeover for beginners. I'm using really basics techniques and trouble shooting some common issues beginners can run into while using chalk paint.

Love your work Christina!! We used to go to farm auctions and find some beautiful antique wood furniture hiding in a barn and my husband and I would take them home, strip them and refinish them. I can appreciate your dedication to this craft. You have a few more power tools now but still takes a special skill and envision to bring an old piece to life. Thanks for the link! I got the "Zibra Detail Paintbrush Kit with Bag" through a different retailer last week, and had no idea they had a bunch of other kits! I needed the detail one because I've got a ton of molding in my house (bought it last year) that repainting. I haven't broken them open yet but am excited to!

Love the transformation from dark to bright and cheery! I love going back to basics. Even in my corp jobs, I always remind my staff, don't let the if, and's and buts cloud your judgement. All the brushes look like they would be very helpful in furniture painting! I really like the 2.5 angle because of the surface area it can cover in one sweep and the trim brush! ❤️❤️❤️

I love that little cut in brush, I have arthritis and have trouble holding on the entire time and that looks comfy enough till I might could! I am such a newby and wanna be now that our 5 kids are older, it is something I have always wanted to try ! Love how easy you make it look with so many details!

Nice! I love Zibra brushes. I used them this summer to paint my kitchen cabinets and drawers. I virtually got a glassy finish! This turned out pretty, Christina. I love the beachy colors. Very soft and chill!
