Mon Amie - Marianne Westman - Rörstrand

This pattern was born on a rainy midsummers eve in the late 1940s. Invented by the genius designer Marianne Westman, who, after having sketched out this labrador tea flower, brought it with her as she started to work as a designer for the Swedish porcelain maker Rörstrand.

In 2008, as a tribute to Marianne Westman's 80th birthday, and probably a pretty profit, Rörstrand relaunched the pattern with updated designs of the porcelain.
