Some great finds there! The Coasters on Date is sought after for the B side “Down home girl”. I was lucky enough to find this track on a double sided white promo recently. Super funky.

RicTic Golden World and Wingate were bought by Tamla Motown in 1968 mainly to get the contracts of Edwin Starr and JJ Barnes lots of Northern Soul on these labels.The punched holes in 45's usually meant they were excess stock so they couldn't be returned and were sold off cheaply.

Just for clarification, the casino club was a ballroom (originally called the Empress ballroom) in Wigan (northern England) it wasn't a gambling casino, it was just called the Casino Club but is without doubt, the most famous uk club to play northern soul music.
