No charges filed against man punched by Los Angeles police officer: attorney

An attorney for a man seen on video being punched by a Los Angeles Police Department officer during an arrest last month said Monday that his client will not face charges.

Everytime I see that guy get sucker punched, I think it shows that he has so much more restraint than the police officer. Anyone getting punched for no reason would probably get furious but this man took it and stayed calm.
That cop should be charged or reprimanded.

You can clearly see in the video that he was only handcuffed on one hand. He was refusing to put his other hand behind his back. It's pretty evident that he was resisting by not giving them his other hand.

He's not handcuffed and he was cooperative, watch the video. Not saying he needed to be punched, but he is actively resisting.
