It was nearly Christmastime in the quiet suburb of Mansfield, Texas when police responded to an open line 911 call. It was a shocking scene. Rick Wamsley, a well-liked local accountant and his cheerful wife, Suzy, murdered in their home in the dead of the night.

Adding to the unsettling circumstances, it seemed that the murders had actually taken place long before the 911 call was made. And the couple’s 19 year old son could not be found …

When people say 2003, I think of it as 5 or 6 years ago. When people say 20 years ago, I think of it as the early 90s. Time flies too fast, man.

They really showed their age as immature teens; first, believing a gunshot to a fuel tank would result in an explosion; second, that one million dollars is enough to set three people up for life 🙄

It’s all in the voice - YouTubers either have the voice for true crime commentary or not…and Kevin has the perfect voice; low, clear and focused. Perfect!

Sheesh, you never know what conversations can be going at an IHOP! Everyone thought they were just discussing pancake toppings.

Did I mishear? Did Ilario get 50 years for supplying the gun? That is more than the actual murderers got considering parole.

I went to school with him. It’s crazy how he changed. He was such a quiet kid and very bright. After high school he got mixed up with the wrong crowd and started doing drugs. It’s so sad his parents lost their lives because of his greed.

I think that’s a pretty good deal! My mom told me if I’m in college I do not have to pay rent, but if I’m not I have to pay $100 a week. Which wasn’t bad either back in 2005 . Because really where will you find somewhere to live for $400 including free use of laundry, internet, and food!

It always shocks me how a group of people can all partake in murder. Like not a single one of you thinks this is a bad idea!!?? Not one can talk some logic into the group? The whole lot of em think they’re masterminds?! 😣 If it weren’t so tragic it would be comedy.

Chelsea gives off major creepy, narcissistic vibes. She couldn’t stop smiling.

Wow!! That IHOP manager got 50 years for providing a gun. He passed a lie detector saying he only got them the gun because they told him it was for target practice . Witness testified he was not at said target practice. Meanwhile, the murdererous son who made a previous attempt to murderer his parents will be out in a few years. We all know what that's about. People pay attention: crime, no matter how big or small, never pays, especially when you look a certain way.

How do you go from having a very normal, average life to thinking murder is the next logical step??!! HOW???

That story is crazy . Never heard of it before. Wish they would have kept Chelsea on death row.

I have listened to many hundreds of crime channels / videos, this guy has the best voice by far, it is soothing yet distinct, soft while at the same time being firm, he puts the video together like a pro, almost TV quality. So happy I found this channel!! Plus almost all his content is original, many channels that have hundreds of thousands of subscribers I consider garbage because they make the same videos / crime stories as all the other popular channels.

I have said this before and unfortunately will again - this is what happens to children that never hear the word No.

I have no idea why this channel doesn't have easily 1m plus subs. I see some where people just drone on and on without substance and just about theatrics. Kevin is the best and draws you in with his calm analysis.

It always pains me when a child can kill their parents for money. I guess I'm blessed to have 5 sons with generous and loving hearts who care more about family above all else...

I'm so tired of criminals using the mental illness for their defense. It insults a lot of people that suffer from mental illness. My son suffered from schizophrenia and he was the most loving human being.

How ironic that the daughter who was kicked out inherited ..everything !

It’s so refreshing to hear an emergency dispatcher erred on the side of caution and sent someone to check it out. That’s a sad statement to have to make. Yes I understand call volumes and personnel. But this should still be standard. *That* is Protecting and Serving.
