On his first day on the job, Alan mistakenly unleashes a cosmic force in the office.

Alan the Infinite
Dir. Dan Ojari & Mikey Please

Alan is excited! It’s his first day at Lamin’8 – a stale, grey, humdrum lamination company. Oh boy! If he buckles up, stays focused and impresses Gary, his unhinged boss, this might just be a job for life. Excellent! But all is not quite as it seems, and when Alan accidentally unleashes cosmic, supernatural forces into the office, he realizes that fitting in at Lamin’8 is going to be infinitely trickier than he ever could have dreamed.

"Rescued from what the filmmakers describe as “internet cold storage”, today’s featured short is an unexpected treat. From S/W alum Dan Ojari (Slow Derek) and prior “Short of the Year” winner Mikey Please (The Eagleman Stag) comes a film we weren’t sure we’d see again—a 2019 stop-motion proof-of-concept that has languished in the uncaring void known as “development” for going on five years." - S/W Curator, Jason Sondhi

Don't we all wish to unleash some cosmic force in the workplace? Nice film. I wish Alan all the best!

This short film is a masterpiece, sadly it gets overshadowed by other popular stuff...

But hey, maybe through time it will get famous. You know what they say: "Patience is the virtue"
