I am turned off by the snarky and know it all attitudes some of the other YouTubers have about Scripture. Really, we should be grieved that these leaders are deceived and that they’re misleading trusting people ☹️.

I am glad to see this. I drive a truck and use to see his literature on the tables with sermons and literature from other groups, esp in areas between Ohio and Wisconsin. William B always seemed to be all over the place to me.

The "light above his head" is simply a flood light standing somewhere in the back. If you open the picture in Photoshop and punch the contrast you can more clearly see the rectangular nature of the light source. The rectangular shape even seems to fit the assumed vanishing point of the picture. If the lightsource were directly above his head it would lighten up Branham's back, as you rightly said. The light would also be less blurry. The blurriness is there because of the distance of the object and the open aperture. An open aperture makes sense considering the light situation and the need for fast shutter speed. There is no need for double exposure to achieve such a photograph. There is really nothing special about it. By the way, do you have a really good high resolution version of this photograph? I would like to do further tests. Thx

The Matthew account mentions two demon-possessed men, while Mark and Luke only mention one. Is there a discrepancy in these accounts

"Directly above his head" in the photo doesn't mean that the light was directly above his head when the photo was taken, which means that you have no basis for saying that the photoshop image is an accurate representation of what would have happened. The light looks nothing like an arena light. Also, you left out some of what Gordon Lindsay wrote about this incident. The photographer (Mr. Ayers) who took the photo was there with a Baptist minister (W. E. Best) who was challenging Branham on his miraculous claims. He took several photos of Rev. Best but they turned out blank. But the one he took of Branham had this image. He was astonished, because apparently there was no light in the shot when he framed it. He took the photo to Branham's hotel and showed them. Gordon Lindsay was the one who took the photo to Lacy. So this wasn't just the claim of Branham. It was also the claim of Gordon Lindsay, who founded Christ For The Nations in Dallas. Lindsay had an impeccable reputation, and was very honest about Branham's faults. He tried to get Branham back on track when he strayed doctrinally but unfortunately Branham wouldn't listen. Lindsay took that photo and the duds of Rev. Best as a rebuke to Rev. Best and a sanctioning of Branham's ministry.

That great pillar of fire is in Washington DC library of congressman. I've been there I seen it. And it's been proven to be right.
