HDFC Bank Q2 results

HDFC Bank came out with its Q2 FY22 results and the numbers overall look quite strong. Net revenue for the bank has breached the Rs. 25,000 crore mark on a quarterly basis in Q2. NIIs have grown healthily and deposits for the bank have gone up by 14.4% YoY. Even the quarterly deposit growth has been robust at 4.4%. PPOP has risen 14.43% and the CASA stands at 46.8% for the bank. Asset quality, which was a concern has come in better than anticipated with Gross NPAs at 1.35% versus the consensus expectation of 1.4%.
