Please, if you are able to, donate (every dollar helps), share Leo's story so that we can spread the word as the sooner we are able to get the surgery the sooner our Leo dog will not be in pain.

How did Leo make out after surgery and what surgery was chosen?

I will be very honest. I am worried and even considered putting my Oreo down due to the same anterior luxation that has recently occurred. Well it actually goes back and forth so I am not even sure if it is sub luxation or full luxation. I do not know whether to wait for pain and discomfort to come and remove the eye as well as this does seem to be the best option for most dogs with this problem and less complications. The other option is to remove the encapsulated lens but I do not know if this may cause complications thereafter. She is NOT in pain now and not showing any problems. She has had a sub-luxation lens for a few years and had cataracts in both eyes since very young. She is almost 8 and juvenile cataracts began at around 4. I was always worried about surgeries and their outcomes and complications. I've seen and read all your posts and videos but I am still very unsure of what to do next.
