Tabassum Family With parents, Husband, Son, Granddaughter, Career & Biography

Tabassum is an Indian film actress and talk show host. She was born as Kiran Bala Sachdev on 9 July 1944 in Mumbai, maharastra, India. Her father Ayodhyanath Sachdev was an Indian freedom fighter, journalist and an author. Her mother was Asghari Begum. She is the youngest among three children of her parents.

She is married to Vijay Govil, elder brother of TV actor Arun Govil. Their son Hoshang Govil had brief career as a lead in three films Tum Par Hum Qurbaan in 1985, which was produced and directed by Tabassum in which she introduced Johnny Lever for the first time on screen as a comedian. In 2009, her granddaughter Khushi made her film debut with Hum Phir Mile Na Mile. Her another granddaughter Karishma is a content creator.

Tabassum ji is my favorite. I remember listening to phool khile hain gulshan gulshan and was completely mesmerized by her sweet voice and charming personality. She is so beautiful. Her show Tabassum Talkies is my favorite too. Among the Bollywood garbage I like her show the best. And also "India Asks" with Jr. Mehmood sir in it. God bless them.
