Death is inevitable, yet how one chooses to leave their loved ones is often neglected in the midst of life’s worst moments. Navigating the discussion of death is not an easy conversation with the living, especially when relating to our parents. Dr. Kevin Haselhorst emphasizes the importance of these conversations and provides five important tasks for making end-of-life transitions easier for both parties involved. Founder of Graceful

This talk helped me integrate an idea I already knew for myself and my family, though never had the kind heartfelt voice to guide me so holistically. Our mind driven emergency care medicine centers called hospitals truly do need the heartfelt foundation of hospice. Well done and thank you for standing up as Dr Hospice!

Great talk. More definitely need to have this talk with their parents, thanks for getting the word out and championing this issue. We need more health care providers like you.

This is deeply moving. We are not obligated to artificially extend life with medical aid when the disease process takes hold. I was worried that this talk was going to be about assisted suicide but it wasn't. I love the idea of heart centred holistic care - "let them be". Let's protect the dying like precious newborns!

Thanks for sharing an important message. My dad passed away in June and I’m so grateful he could tell us his wishes in his own words when the time came and that as a family we could agree to honor that and let him move on gently with love when the time came. ❤️🥰

This is a beautiful talk about listening to the heart's wishes. About choosing comfort care through hospice for our parents rather than insisting doctors prolong suffering through attempts to cure the incurable. Good job, Dr. H!
