BEST SD Card for OSMO Pocket

There is no best SD Card for OSMO Pocket but there is a certain requirement that will make it fast enough for 4K at 100 Mb/s. Below you will find my OSMO Pocket SD card recommendations:

Just go for a card with v30. It's guaranteed to capture at least 30Mb a second. The price differece is not that big. All other numbers on a card is the possible max-speed, V30 is a guarateed minimum speed with wich you can write to the card.

Good points raised sir ;) uk buyers beware, I’ve just returned 2 u3 Samsung cards from eBay uk, both fake with write speeds of less than 10mb per second rather than the 90+ advertised. It’ll be trustworthy retailers for me from now on.

Just find out this morning my sd card is class 10 only not enough for 1080 60fps, i thought it was my osmo pocket problem. Look like i have go for a new lastest fast enough memory card.

Hi, I had the weirdest thing happen to me today 🤔 would love to hear your views on this..
I have two Osmo pocket 2 and I wanted to record a podcast with the two. Both have the same SD Card Sandisk 256 GB A1 Ultra U1 Class 10.
One of the cameras was alright recording for over an hour without any stopping. The other would stop every 30 mins and restart the recording process?
I checked all of the settings, the only difference was the exposure levels.. everything else (firmware, all of the settings) were the same..

Any suggestions on why one would be able to shoot and the other not?

Great info....new sub here..I just picked up an ozmo pocket to use in the casinos when I play slots. I figure the small size won't draw much attention and the gimbal will smooth out the videos...Thanks again for the great videos.

I used sandisk 64 and 128 gb ultra. Format done, but my video auto stop and cannot play back

Sorry but you lost me on this one Henrik (because you say not to use Class 10)...
Not wanting to confuse your viewers (and I don't need clarification because I know I'm using the proper cards) but:
The 1st card you linked has U-3, V-30 AND Class 10 (in the description)...
I'm looking at one of my Extreme Pro cards (for my Canon camera) and it also has U-3, V-30 AND C-10 on it...
The cards I use in my P4P are all Extreme Pro (same as your link) as well and again "the description" says Class 10.
Sorry for adding some confusion but I spent a LOT of time researching Read/Write speeds before I ended up getting Extreme Pro cards for all my drones and Cameras 😃


P.S. the last 256MB Extreme Pro I got for my Canon has 170 MB/s Read speed (because I didn't like how long it was taking to download "several thousand RAW images"), but then I found out the card-slot in my computer was what wasn't Reading fast (so I got a FAST card reader), THEN I found out that a couple of my Disc Drives weren't Writing as fast as that card reads...lol...
