U.S. unemployment claims hit a new pandemic low for the fourth week in a row. About 406,000 people filed for unemployment benefits last week. But in Virginia, unemployment applicants say they're still fighting "unresolved issues" with their claims. Investigative Reporter Evan Watson explains how Virginia is one of the worst states in the country at reviewing these problems.

It's a Mess. So unorganized, they never answer the phone, they don't send out correspondence letters....very frustrating.

I need someone to help me. I have not received a benefit payment from VEC for my PUA claim since June 3, 2021. Is anyone else in this situation?? I need some input or info on what I need to do. PLEASE HELP!!!

You cant get anyone on phone ! I call and call i got a kid to support just like everyone else ! I have not got payed in 2 weeks !! it happened in march and it happened last year its a mess, this is ridiculous !!

I waited 5 months to get a lunp sum but it stopped again

It is the exact same way in Massachusetts if not worse I waited two months before I got my first unemployment after one month it got yanked for no reason

Do you think it has anything to do with the laws changing virtually overnight where all 50 states in the US went to employee at will where essentially up employees have no rights any longer that’s just great incentive to go back to work and hit the pavement
