Isn’t it amazing how politicians are so focussed on their own public image, when all people want from their politicians is that they do their job - nothing more, nothing less. Put the safety and security of their country first, work hard to improve the lives of as many people as possible and honour the promises they made prior to their election, or publicly state the reason for their failure to do so. Politics shouldn’t be a popularity contest, it should be a commitment to implement the policies and promises which got them elected, but like so many other fields which were previously a “public service” has simply become “a job”. Good for them! I wouldn't want to be associated with our current PM, nor indeed some of the people he's got in the government either. I think it would be a shocker for the Oasis boys to succumb to that idea. It won't gain them anything.
