With an overall score of 39.1, an increase of 2.7 points from 2023, India now ranks third among 27 countries in terms of comprehensive power, evaluated by economic, military, cultural, and political influence. The United States remains the dominant force in the region with a score of 81.7, followed by China at 72.7. This notable ascent reflects India's growing influence, particularly in the context of shifting global dynamics, and places it ahead of traditional powers like Japan and Russia. The third most powerful country in the world, not Asia.

India surpassed Japan when it successfully tested a nuclear bomb. Japan has no nuclear weapons of it own. But India can't and will never be able to surpass Russia. Russia will maintain its 2nd military power world wide. Don't be fooled by the war in Ukraine. Russia is not fighting with all its capabilities or else the very civilization even beyond Ukraine will be at stake.
