Flea always surprises me. He looks like he's a violent criminal who'll cut you soon as say "Hello." But, he's an intelligent and articulate artist. Always bends my brain.

Each beatle were/are often overlooked as musicians imo. Because the beatles are so big and the songs are so famous, the playing often gets overlooked. Stuff like All My Loving, each part is incredibly well played. And, Ringo is amazing. ❤

Truth - the bass playing on Sargent pepper’s is superb and he is often overlooked as a bass player.

Exactly what I been saying for years. As he often overdubbed the bass it really helped him to play around everything else and come up with parts that helped the song. Amazing.

Actually the reason why Paul would track the bass last because back in the day of tape recording the last thing to be added would be the most present. Repeated bounces dull whatever was recorded first.

You can actually hum the bass lines in the Beatles songs. Paul is so melodic
